What cha talkin about Willis?

Me and my auntie love to have long and serious discussions and we also enjoy shopping online. I love her voice and she captivates my attention when she sings. (when auntie sings I'm amazed, when mommy sings, I laugh). She is going to be a star one day (well she is already a star in my eyes).

Baby Care Basics

Yesterday CJ and I went to our first baby class called "Baby Care Basics". Who knew there were so many basics to learn? Our classmates were an interesting bunch. There was a young girl in her early 20's who looked like Juno and brought her "friend" for support, there was a Zookeeper couple, a couple looking to adopt, and a couple of foreign exchange students from UTA (of course this is my assumption).

The class lasted about 2.5 hours and here are a few things we learned:

• How to properly bathe a baby
• How to swaddle a baby
• Breastfeeding vs. Formula Feeding
• To circumcise or not to circumcise
• Cleaning the "cord"
• Signs of sickness (note to self: any heavy bleeding is BAD)

We are at week 31 now and only 6 weeks until I am considered full term!! We have two more classes to go to (one is 6 hours long, ick).

As of two weeks ago Landon was 3lbs and 15.5 inches long. His cute little kicks, which felt like flutters, have now evolved into back flips and karate chops!! He is moving around like crazy, which is an amazing sign :)

We can't wait to meet him!

My first professional photos!

Yesterday we had our 3D sonogram and saw Landon's sweet little face!! He was very cooperative and we were able to get some very nice photos of his face.

Everyone says he looks like CJ, but I think he has my chin! :)

Right now he is measuring 15 inches long and is approximatedly 2lbs 10oz. The Dr. says he is measuring about 1.5 weeks ahead of schedule so he could be here before Thanksgiving!!

my debut to the world

Mommy and Daddy are going to see my face for the first time this Wednesday, September 2nd at around 4pm CST. Let the countdown begin :)
